A: Pours hazy amber with a tall off-white, compact lovely head. Dissipation is slow and leaves rich lacings.
S: Fruity – red apples, pears and oranges. Malt is somewhat sweet, and slightly roasted. Nice bitter hoppyness. Too bad it’s rather mild.
T: Loaded with bitter hops up front, then the fruityness from floral hops kicks in together with the sweet bready malt. Nettles and hay. Faint buttery notes.
M: Long bitter aftertaste – very bitter actually. Body is medium while carbonation is strong but smooth.
O: This was a nice surprise. Perhaps too bitter, but how can I hold that against the brewer?
