This review is, I'm afraid, more of a warning. I bought this from Porters in Hornsby Heights ... a nice little bottle shop that often stocks a few great beers. The price was $20 for a 6 pack when you bought 2 so I stuck my neck out and bought this and the hefe-weizen. That is the same price as they charge for Hop Rod Rye so I had certain expectations ...
The beer was completely flat. Nothing I could do to induce any sort of head. The taste was completely one- dimensional with only a vague resemblance to Belgian Ale as I know it.
The other 5 bottles from the six pack went in the bin.
