The brewer says this starts out with German malt, yeast, and hops, but they finish with Motueka hops from New Zealand. I wouldn't think of it as a Pilsener right off, especially after you sip on the fruity hops. Just a little bitter aftertaste. Apricot and lemony taste.
Crisp and light bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. This is perfectly delicious and a nice surprise. I"m ready to try anything from Barrel Harbor now. This is a really good use of hops in a light-handed way. Lots of taste. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bottlecraft.
