I got a 6pck of this from the beer store around the corner. It poured a clear amber with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had hints of bitterness. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. Good malt base with hop finish. The mouthfeel is medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid beer.

Pours light cloudy, amber. Foamy, tall, off white head that fades slowly to a lasting cap with light lacing.
Smells rye, bready, citrus, peppery and light toasted malts.
Tastes rye, pepper, Earthy, citrus hints, light fruit and pine. Finish is dry with pine and rye linger. Medium body and creamy medium carbonation.

In plastic cup on draft at Actual Brewing. This is actually a Rye IPA not an Amber. Not the best example of a Rye IPA, however it's very heavy on the rye smell and taste which is a little too strong for me but I could see others liking this one. Give it a try.

Poured from a 22oz bomber into a nonic pint glass. Very soapy carbonated head, that poured > 50% foam, even though the pour from the bomber was slow, and at a 45' angle. Look was very amber, showing off the red rye malt.
Aromatic garden and meadow spices dominate the olfactory senses. The rye malt dominates the taste, with the hops taking a back seat to the Imperial, higher ABV product. The feel has an expected burn from the grain, and is a lot more dominant than softer tones found in lower ABV, non-Imperial rye IPA's.
If you like your red rye IPA with a kick, all it takes is a bomber of Conductor to satisfy your need!
