660ml bottle
appearance: murky brown, medium to light carbonation, poor lacing and head retention.
smell: notes of sweet coffee, brown sugar, figs and black raisins.
taste: same as the smell and sweet, but not so much coffee. Boozy but not in an agressive way.
mouthfeel: I found it to be velvety and really drinkable despite the 11%. Nice sweet and dry aftertaste.
overall: nice local offering and good attempt at a belgian style of fame.

I did like the folkloric label. Murky brown color with a thick beige head with great retention and leaving a constant plate.
Aroma full of molasses with hints of Belgian yeast, prunes soaked in caramel, bread crust, spices, grape jam and herbal hops.
Flavor with notes of molasses, brown sugar, pine, prunes, figs, Belgian yeast, cinnamon, a good deal of grape jam and proper booze. Dry aftertaste with perceivable hops that is just muffled given the heavy malt bill.
Full syrup body with somewhat effervescent carbonation. They did an amazing job in hiding 11% abv.
Abbey like Strong Dark Ale with lots of grape jam and a heavy malt sweetness bill (it wouldn’t harm to cut it), but still with enough hops not to make it too cloying. Decent and worth trying if you are in Argentina.
