In an old post office. neat atmosphere. They make their pizza crust and some bread stuffs from spent grains. Delicious - as are the beers. Mostly serve their beers but they also carry some "area" beers as well.

It may not have been fair that my first visit here was right after 3 days at the GABF 10/13.
After trying so much good beer, it was a big let down to visit the old home town brewery.
Maybe I had better expectations? As a place, it's just another re-hash of the half dozen or more bars / restaurants this place has already contained. Maybe go back to playing up the old 'post office' aspect?
The help was great. Much more excited about the beer than it actually was though. A decent place to hang out, sit at the bar or shoot a game of pool.
As far as the beer goes? Sorry. Kind of like newbie home brewers trying to jump in on the excitement of a craft brewery. Too sweet, watery, weird? Fermentation issues? Glad they had something else on draft from another brewery.
A few months have since passed and I'm hoping that the skills of the brewers are improving as I would love to have a place to stop at next time I'm around. And yes I'll probably give them a try. Seek some mentoring from Blacktooth up the road?
