Appearance - Pours slightly hazy and golden in color with an off-white, finger width head. Great retention, holding well until it dissipates to a thin, consistent layer of suds. Great lacing left on the glass, with a large sheet making up the bulk of the side that's not being drank from.
Smell - Orange is the predominant aroma. A hint of mellow lemon and spice also come through, along with light grass and a slight crackery undertone.
Taste - Follows the nose. Light, but packed citrusy notes of orange and bright, but lesser lemony notes. Malts come through faintly with a bit of bready sweetness. The finish is distintcly more citrus, with lemony pith leaving an aftertaste that rings slightly sweet, slightly tart and slightly bitter.
Mouthfeel - On the fuller side of light-bodied with moderate carbonation. Slick texture gives way to a crisp, mostly dry finish.
Overall - A tasty, refreshing pale from New Glory. I crushed several of these on 4th of July, and I'm glad I bought another one for review. One to look out for in the future, particularly on hot, summer days.
