Packed with Citra & Riwaka hops, this Hazy brings bright pineapple, fresh lemongrass, and a signature “green” finish—all from the hops. No fruit added, just pure hop magic.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Resinous, grassy, a touch spicy and green, zesty citrus, subtle tropical and stone fruit, biscuity malt, and just a hint of sweetness.
T: Plenty of green grassy resinous notes, zesty citrus, grapefruit, lime, lemon, and tangerine, a little underlying tropical and stone fruit, apricot, melon, passion fruit, mango, and hints of pineapple and papaya, biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate, yet slightly prickly, with some lingering bitterness on the finish.
O: Took me a little while to warm up to this one. It packs the IBUs of Westy, but the softer body of a NEIPA. It can be a bit aggressive, especially at first, but it hits their target of being a green bomb. I kinda wanna see a full clear West Coast version. I can't say that I'd seek it out again, but I wouldn't turn down a second pint, and I've got a give credit where it's due for them hitting their big green bullseye of a target.

Consumed January 2019. Pours a hazy color in between yellow and light orange. 1/2" white head. Aroma has what appears to be near equal parts of Citra and Galaxy, they specify its Australian Galaxy, but it doesn't really resonate with me in terms of a discernable difference between Yakima Galaxy. Had a little bit of that POG effect, pineapple, orange, grapefruit.
Taste really showed off the dual use of Galaxy, this pushed more of the grapefruit bitter notes in the taste and mouthfeel than it did in the smell. The orange was distinctly lesser here. Pineapple, it was there, but not to the same extent that you might find in some of those big time Galaxy bombs. As usual for New Glory (and just about every brewery in the Auburn corridor), they hide 8%+ alcohol very well. This was plenty crushable solo. While this one doesn't really separate itself from the pack, it also firmly belongs in the long line of dipas that are pretty similar to each other, but also pretty good.

Another good hazy DIPA from New Glory! Wonderful nose of citrus-ey, hoppy, dankness. The finish is not as full as I like, but a decent, smooth finish for a DIPA that packs a punch!

Canned 03/30/18
Appearance - Pours quite hazy and a mellow orange in color with an off-white, quarter finger width head. Sub-par retention results in a mostly barren surface with a thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. No lacing of note.
Smell - Strong citrusy juiciness with some complimentary passionfruit character and mild pineapple. Mmmm.
Taste - Not as enticing as the nose lead son, but still pretty tasty. Orange, passionfruit and papaya with underlying pineapple acidity. Great depth in the flavor. Almost a faint undertone of vanilla sweetness. Aftertaste is sweet and fruity with lingering orange and tropical joy.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, slightly velvety texture with a slightly crisp, easy finish.
Overall - I never had the chance to try the original version, but this updated recipe is damn good. New Glory continues to kill it with must try releases, at least as their hoppy brews are concerned.
