Hazy amber brew with plenty of foam in the snifter. Mouthfeel is spritzy and delightfully lively, a bonus for a big malty beer. Aroma is peppery and fruity. Flavors of citrus and a touch of honey. Just sweet enough and the aftertaste is only modestly bitter. Orange marmalade, pineapple, and a little fruit chewing gum.

This is a really friendly and drinkable strong brew. It's the persistent fizz and fruit that makes it. The current canned version is 8.2%. From the 16 oz can purchased at Mollie Stone Market in San Francisco.

Pleasantly surprised with this DIPA! Great nose with hints of pineapple and mango that gives it a nice tropical smell. Taste follows the nose with tropical notes with a well-balanced hoppyness at the end. For a double, no overpowering alcohol kick. Not as good as my favorite series, Soaked, Dripping Wet, and Washed Out, but a very good placeholder while I wait for my favorites. New Glory is quickly becoming my favorite brewery!

Canned 08/15/18

Appearance - Poured into a 16oz tulip, hazy and mellowed orange with an off-white, finger width head. Fair retention before dying down to a thin, broken layer of suds and a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Fair lacing with broken lines and small spotting.

Smell - Fresh orange juice, pineapple, white grapefruit, hint of mango and some faint pine.

Taste - Follows the nose. Juicy orange and pineapple upfront with a hint of dank. Ruby red grapefruit hits mid-taste. Distant mango, hint of tartness. Finish is midly bitter, mildly tart and plenty of lingering fruitiness.

Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with crisp, refreshing finish.

Overall - Tasty. Reminds me a bit of fresh Liquid Grove, only stronger. Hard to beat fresh anything, but some of New Glory's releases are really magical when first released; this one is no exception.

Given to me from a friend who was in Sacramento. A fresh 16oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a straw yellow color with a thick sharp white head. The scent offers a small amount of citrus and what comes off to me as bubblegum. The flavor of the beer is very similar to many of the other west coast breweries that are making hazy IPA's like Fort George or Modern times. A much smoother and lighter mouth feel than what is typical to a "New England" style IPA.

Draught pour at Davis Beer Shoppe into a shaker pint. Pours slightly hazy golden with finger of medium density white head that had moderate retention and left ringed lacing. Nose is very grass and floral. Taste follows the nose but brings some added citrus. Finishes with moderate bitterness and a bit of lingering astringency. Mouthfeel on the thinner side, carbonation medium. A solid offering, but I could see some being turned off by the nose.
