This hazy Double IPA is brewed with Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Amarillo (a delicious combination on its own), but we made this one a real rager by adding Citra and Mosaic CRYO hops. These headliners bring forth an intense aroma and flavor of citrus fruit and offer up a less astringent or bitter result. In true hazy fashion, this one boasts a soft and silky mouthfeel and goes down smooth.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours slightly hazy golden yellow amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves some nice lacing.
S: Tropical and stone fruit, melon, zesty citrus, grassy, a little pine, a bit floral, bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Zesty citrus, lemon, lime, grapefruit, and orange, tropical and stone fruit, mango, peach, apricot, melon, papaya, passion fruit, and pineapple, a bit of resinous pine, grassy and floral notes, faint earthy herbal tones, bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: Medium to full body, moderate carbonation.
O: Solid DIPA with a bit of an old school feel to it.

Had this in December 2018. I like New Glory stuff usually.
Pours a hazy yellow, but not gloop glop levels of haze trub. 1/3" white head. A nice relatively older school aroma package at this point, usual Citra and Amarillo banging of orange, grapefruit, tangerine and lemongrass.
Taste keeps pushing the hops in the usual (good) New Glory way. Simcoe doing Simcoe things giving a moderate bitterness while maintaining a slightly dry body. I say slightly, because there was this impression in the mouth feel that this had a bit of lactose to it. Does not appear to be true, but that is what I was sensing. Could just be a really smooth mouth feel. The rotation of Amarillo and Citra hop flavors keep this one in full on citrus grove orchard territory.
Its another example of this dipas at 8% that are super crushable without any hint of alcohol to them. New Glory is nice because they seem to be reliable and less expensive than others in the area.

Can into a nonic pint.
L: Bright golden with finger of medium density white head with good retention and left streaked lacing.
S: Nose is a bit mute competing tropical and citrus notes, floral undertones. Mango, passionfruit, and tangerine.
T: Follows the nose well, more dynamic, but still not a punch to the palate. Enjoyable with clean finish, mild bitterness or astringency, nothing lingers.
F: Medium body, lighter carbonation, with silky finish.
O: Possibly the best beer I've had from them. Not necessarily a WOW beer, but well done and is grab again.
