No canned on date. Brewery released on 05/29/17
Appearance - Pours slightly hazy and dull, golden orange in color with an off-white, half finger width head that dissipates
rather quickly, leaving behind a mostly barren surface but with a thick ring of suds around the edge of the glass. No lacing to be found aside from 2-3 minuscule dots.
Smell - Orange peel, spice, hints of leaf and some pine notes.
Taste - Follows the nose. Orange character throughout, more juicy upfront and turning pithy near the finish, with hints of spice, green leaf and pine to support it. Vague pineapple. Generic bready sweetness. Finish lingers with a bit of pineapple zing and the aforementioned orange pith bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium bodied with surprisingly bitey carbonation. Slick texture leads to a smooth finish with a mostly dry finish.
Overall - The sister release to Make It Rain, though only mosaic makes the same hops list (amarillo and ekuanot here, citra and hallertau blanc for 'Rain'). This one is a bit more 'classic' West coast style with a slight twist, as a bit of juiciness is prevalent. Between the two though, I greatly prefer 'Rain'. That said, this one is still pretty tasty.
