Had it from can Wine Shop Folsom Feb 2018
Best west coast IPa I’ve had in some time. Very surprised at the modest ratings.

The beer pours out a clear light golden color, with 2 fingers of off white head------------ the aromas are of sweet orange, pine, dank weed and grapefruit------------ the flavors are of pine, oranges, orange pith and dank weed, the beer has a thin to medium mouthfeel with a lingering pine bitterness on the finish------------ overall this beer was good, it was sweet citrus up front followed by an overly bitter pine finish, solid west coast ipa---

Appearance - Pours crystal clear and golden in color with an off-white, two-finger width head. Fair retention, resulting in a thin, consistent layer of suds and a good amount of build-up around the edges. Good amount of lacing with broken sheeting, broken lines and some spotting.
Smell - Equal amounts of citrusy hop and bready, grainy malt character. Some tangerine skin and a hint of pineapple.
Taste - Follows the nose. Bready and citrusy overall, with nuances of tangerine and white grapefruit character upfront. Finishes similarly, with bready sweetness and mild orange lingering in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Smooth, slick texture with a lightly crisp, easy finish.
Overall - Hop heads beware. This is an IPA that probably drinks closer to today's standard APA. Those who enjoy a balanced IPA should love this, or those just cutting their teeth on the style.
