American Double IPA packed full of dank Pacific Northwest Hops and fermented with our more neutral but still charismatic, ale yeast. For optimum experience, store cold and drink fresh.

New Glory makes good hoppy beer right in the heart of hop valley, you'd prolly hear more about them if they weren't nestled in between so many of the world's (yes world, not just California) best hoppy breweries.
Well let that love affair fall by the wayside, as this is a below average for New Glory hoppy beer. Still decent for just about anyone else though. Pours the familiar dark golden yellow color, average cloudiness to it, this isn't a pretty west coast ipa. 1/2" white head, below average retention. Aroma wasn't much in terms of hoppiness, thus setting the stage for relative disappointment.
Taste, well if I knew they led with "three base malts" in the commercial tug job. . . so anyways, this is largely a Simcoe hopped beer. It has Mosaic too, but it seems miniscule in comparison. Didn't resonate in the aroma, nor the taste, it basically was pushed along by a grapefruit only bitterness. The malt aspect was neither good nor bad. Didn't find it dank, found it bitter, like an overcooked bag of popcorn to use the label imagery. Not their best effort, drinkable, no off flavors, but just too much Simcoe all over it.

Straw hazy with a green tinge, no carbonation and a half finger of white head.
Smells dank and hoppy, and of pineapple, mangoes and ripe jackfruit.
Tastes of dankness, pineapple, mango, aromatic ripe fruit, and a lengthy, resinous bitterness.
Medium to heavy, syrupy body with light carbonation.
I got this in Redding where I am drinking it March 10th, 2019. Excellent brew.

Just Here for the Comments pours a golden honey color with a foamy, thick and white, 1-finger head. Smell is dominated by tropical fruit but has an earthiness and dank characteristic. Taste is pineapple upfront with a citrus background and a big pine bite that gives this DIPA a dank aftertaste.

Surprised by the quality of this IPA! A very good iteration of a classic West Coast IPA with an extra kick to it (8.1% ABV) A very drinkable double with a great balance of tropical notes and bitterness at the end. This reminded me of Track 7's Left Eye Right Eye...like maybe it's baby brother. New Glory is taking over my Top Fifteen List!!!!

Too bad that this is 2018 where WC IPAs are underrated. I think that if this was brewed 10 years ago this would have been a 4.5+ IPA. Both the smell and the taste are dominated by the tropical notes, undoubtedly coming from Mosaic hops. There is also some lingering bitterness in the middle and in the backn— it's a WC IPA after all. Honestly, this is pretty close to perfect, without being mind-blowing. This is as good as Mosaic+Citra WC IPA can get. This is a good beer!

Pours a clear gold honey color with white head leaving moderate lacing. Nose is citrusy and tropical with a hint of alcohol. Taste follows with more hop flavors and a bit of bitterness, alcohol is not noticeable at all. Nicely done.

Can released from the brewery 12/22/17
Appearance - Pours crystal clear and pure golden in color with an off-white, finger width head. Fair retention results in a thin, broken layer of suds and a razor thin ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - Pine, pineapple, citrus and an earthy, almost herbal undertone.
Taste - Follows the nose. Pineapple and slightly citrusy flavor that's undercut by a noticeably dank underbelly. Finish is bitter, with light citrus pith and a bit of grassiness.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with moderate, tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a crisp finish, slightly dry finish.
Overall - Better than I expected. I came into this one thinking it wouldn't be a favorite, in part do to the "dank" hops comment on the can, and I was sorta right. While the dank pine is present, it's not the prominent character of this brew. I respect the quality, but I'm not in love with it. That said, I think anyone who loves dank character in their hoppy brews will love this.

Can from 09/22/17 into a tulip glass.
L: Pours bright copper with 3 fingers of variable density white head that had limited retention and left minimal spotted lacing.
S: Initially the nose starts out tropical forward, melon and passionfruit, with dank and earthy undertones. As it warms those distributions invert.
T: Slightly more dank and earthy, but plenty of tropical aspects as well. Finishes with moderate bitterness that clears the palate quickly.
F: Thinner bodied, moderate carbonation, tingly on the tongue from the ABV, slick finish.
O: A nice modern take on the WCIPA.
