Soaked IPA’s big brother! It’s an American Double IPA brewed with brewed with a blend of Citra and Mosaic and fermented with our expressive ale yeast. Aromas: Overripe mango, papaya and pineapple. Flavors: Malt profile of French bread and a hop midpalate of sweet pineapple, tangerines and tropical punch.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.

S: Tropical and stone fruit, citrus, a little pine, dank herbal notes, slightly grassy, biscuity malt, and a little caramel sweetness.

T: Tropical and stone fruit, papaya, pineapple, passion fruit, mango, peach, and apricot, citrus, tangerine, lemon, and lime, dank earthy herbal notes, a little resinous pine, a bit grassy, floral, a hint of bubble gum, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: Just a touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderately lively carbonation.

O: Super drinkable for a DIPA, definitely a notch up from Soaked.

Pale straw, pineapple juice colored beverage sporting a dense cap of white foam
Bright citrus juice aromas jump out of the glass, tangerine and mandarine, along with some softer nectarine and white peach. A sort of table grape/grape bubble gum sweetness in the mix as well
Taste follows along the path with the citrus taking a more supporting role to the more prominent stone fruit. peach and apricot as well as a bit of drier wine grape and a nice citrus rind bitterness to keep things in balance
Prickly carbonation helps the cause of balance and the beer finishes clean on the palate
A real nice example of a modern american dipa. Brings the softer body and intense fruit aromas and flavors of the neipa with enough bitterness and the crisp finish of a proper west coast ipa to make a dangerously easy drinking double.

L: This beer pours out hazy and is straw yellow in color. Despite pouring fairly causally, it quickly formed a bubbly white cap that retained nicely. Leaves sudsy foam behind on wall of glass.
S: Very juice-forward. Mango is domineering aroma, followed by lemon, pineapple, grapefruit, and apricot. Grassy smelling as well with mild pine.
T: Mango flavor is strong. This thing is juicy. Citrus and mango are majority with slight stonefruit flavor. Finish actually has a slightly bitter presence which balances well with the fruit sweetness.
F: Medium in body and weight. Carbonation is moderate for the style. Not the smoothess or creamiest NG brew yet, but it is nice feeling nevertheless.
O: It's an awesome beer. I don't know what more to say, other than I am grateful to have tried and would most definitely drink again. Cheers!

Canned on 4/19/18 (super Fresh)!

L: Has a hazy, amber look with a nice, frothy head that settles down to a thin layer...

S: Fantastic nose!!! Tropical fruit with a heavy mango and papaya smell...a hint of hoppyness...

T: Follows the nose very well! Not exactly, but with how great the nose is, it is understandable. The bitter bite at the end is sufficient for this sweet hazy IPA.

F: Light to medium bodied...unfiltered and hazy...just the right amount of carbonation...

O: I went into New Glory's Taproom looking for their Soaked IPA. I was disappointed when they told me that they were out...when I had a taste of this, my disappointment quickly went away! This is like Soaked's older/bigger brother. I am very impressed with this...on the lighter side for a DIPA at 8.1%, but a well balanced, sweet, and tropical fruity iteration that I am so happy that is close to me! Well done New Glory!

Canned 12/14/17

Appearance - Pours murky and a dull gold in color with a white, half finger width head that fizzes away rather quickly, leaving behind a mostly barren surface with a razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. A few random spots make up the lacing.

Smell - Mango, cantaloupe, papaya and a mild pineapple character. Mild floral and spice once it opens up.

Taste - Cantaloupe and mango upfront and throughout, while lesser citrus sits patiently in the background. Fair pineapple zing. Citrus emerges near the finish and becomes the prominent flavor, giving the finish a pithy grapefruit bitterness, and it lingers well into the aftertaste along with the pineapple acidic bite.

Mouthfeel - Near full in body with moderate carbonation. Slick texture before a dry finish with a faint chalkiness to it.

Overall - A really tasty and unique hazy DIPA. I've never had one that has this much cantaloupe punch before. It's a nice change of pace.

I have been meaning to try and score some New Glory cans, but Moonraker is always so much more convenient location wise coming from Nevada. Anyways, I got to drink four of their hoppy beers at the Punk In Drublic fest last Sunday. This was one of them.

Pours a hazy yellow to light copper with 1/2" white head. Aroma smacked on them tropical fruit notes, seemed like maybe Galaxy, Citra and Mosaic rocking the nose. You get the vibe though, definitely proprietary hops up in here.

Taste, hey very good, less tropical fruit, 60 ibu bitterness, citrus coming out more, a little tangerine and grapefruit. Nice dry and light malt base despite it being a double ipa. They stayed away from overdoing the crystal malt caramel thing thankfully. Mouthfeel stays light all day, covers alcohol quite well. The NE ipa thing really is strong with doubles and taming bitterness and alcohol bite. This is no exception to that general rule. Would bang again, and seriously, I need to score more of their cans.

4-day old can into a tulip glass.

L: Pours brown bronze with 2 fingers of medium density khaki head that had moderate retention and left ringed and streaked lacing.

S: Great nose, mucho mango, tangerine, papaya, and some guava undertones. Very tropical!

T: Follows the nose well, but not as dynamic. More influence by the citrus. Finishes with limited bitterness and moderate astringency, both clear the palate relatively quickly.

F: Medium bodied, higher carbonation, lively and slick on the tongue, some lips/tongue tingling from the astringency and carbonation.

O: Very solid beer, and one of the best I've had from New Glory. Perhaps the best nose on a beer from them of the ones I've had previously. Would definitely get again.
