Had this in July 2018, back when New Glory was a relatively new thing to me.
Golden checkers named beer pours golden, but lightly cloudy. Pic I have of it didn't show it to hold a head, but time from pour to pic was not made apparent, but more importantly, the carbonation was fine here. Good citrus hop aroma, and bigger kudos for it not being just grapefruit rind. Orange, tangerine, nectarine like hop notes aroma wise.
Taste, its an easy, golden promise like malt base that has plenty of hop notes, super crushable, moderate bitterness, light dry finish kind of beer. The hops continue their primarily citrus, but also a little bit of stone fruit push. Mouth feel easily good, neutral, light, enjoyable. Bitterness right in the wheelhouse.
This is a plenty enjoyable and serviceable pale ale that doesn't try and reinvent the wheel. Good for year round drinking. You could do a lot worse when grabbing a 5% ale anywhere in the world. Seems like this one leaned on the Citra hop more than the Mosaic.

From the 05/25/18 can release
Appearance - Pours slightly hazy and golden in color with a white head that peaks at less than half a finger's width before quickly dying off to a mostly barren surface and a fair ring around the edge of the glass. A few broken lines and a small handful of spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Moderate aroma, hitting on notes of orange, pineapple, mild papaya, just a faint trace of pine and a slightly bready undertone.
Taste - Follows the nose. Citrusy explosion upfront with orange, white grapefruit, mild pineapple, lesser papaya and a bit of cattiness, but the flavor quickly recedes, allowing a mild hint of pine spice and generic white bread sweetness to surface. Finish is light with some bright pithy bitterness and mild spice.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair, tingly carbonation. Goes down smooth and easy with a slightly dry finish.
Overall - Good pale. The flavor profile is a bit fleeting, almost like a session brew. At 5.2%, I guess that makes sense. With all the delicious and high quality beers NG makes, it's doubtful I'd settle on this one again.

Can from 12/07/17 into a tulip glass.
L: Pours vibrant golden with almost 3 fingers of variable density pillowy white head with good retention and left mixed lacing.
S: Nose is very nice and tropical, plenty of pineapple, papaya, nectarine, and melon, in addition to dank attributes.
T: Not as dynamic as the nose, brings in addition of plenty of citrus. Finishes with moderate bitterness and minimal astringency, clears palate quickly.
F: Lighter bodied, moderate carbonation, slick on the tongue, refreshing.
O: A really nice APA, just wanted a bit more punch on the taste. Quite happy to have a 4pk.
