Can from 011818 into a tulip glass.
L: Pours hazy dirty bronze with 1+ finger of variable density white frothy head with moderate retention and left limited mixed lacing.
S: Tropical forward, melon, mango, and strawberries in the lead, mild citrus, dank and floral subtle undertones.
T: Follows the nose to good degree. Finishes with mild bitterness, moderate astringency, perhaps the subtlest hint of galaxy bubblegum on the swallow. Something in addition to the astrigency lingers on the palate, my guess is yeast.
F: Medium bodied with medium carbonation, tingling lips and tongue from carbonation, astringency (and possibly ABV and yeast), yet also pillowy.
O: An interesting beer that really has a dynamic nose/taste profile for my palate. There's something on the finish that keeps me from rating this higher for my palate and preferences. I have a 4-pk so I'll revisit as necessary if they change substantially.

Appearance - Pours hazy and dull, golden orange with an off-white, near finger width head. Sub-par retention, resulting in a thin, broken layer of suds with a slightly thicker ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - Juicy melon with lesser citrus and mild pineapple. Also a vague hint of pine dank.
Taste - Follows the nose. Huge, juicy notes of honeydew and/or cantaloupe melon upfront and throughout with some mild acidity coming in the form of orange, lesser pineapple and a hint of grapefruit. Subtle bready malt undertone. A touch of banana peel. Finishes much the same as it starts, with strong melon and lesser citrus found lingering in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with moderate, tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a crisp, dry and slightly chalky yeast finish.
Overall - A strong effort from New Glory and Flatlands, though I prefer the recently released and similar but more aggressively hopped Dripping Wet.
