Can poured into a Russian River Brewing Co pub glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Citrus, quickly met by a mix of tropical and stone fruit, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Citrus, lots of orange, plus some grapefruit, lemon, and a touch of lime, tropical and stone fruit, mango, peach, apricot, passion fruit, and a hint of papaya, bready malt, faint hit of wheat, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: As I recall, this is sort of a recipe combo of Gummy Worms Pale Ale and Galactus DIPA. I was hoping that by adding Galaxy hops to Gummy Worms and making it bigger would be something special. Unfortunately it's not as bright and refreshing as the original. I wouldn't turn down a second pint, but I'd be more inclined to try something else.
The only caveat is this can is nearly 2 months old, and Gummy Worms is at its best within the first month. If they re-brew it I'll definitely snag it as early as possible for a revisit.

Great nose on this one...classic tropical hoppy notes that had me very excited. Unfortunately, the taste didn't follow nose as much and it felt a little unfulfilling on the swallow and finish. It was a little thin on finish for my palate.

From the 09/07/18 can release
Appearance - Pours hazy and sunset yellow with an off-white, near two-finger width head. Decent retention, resulting in a thin, consistent layer of suds. Good amount of lacing, with large, chunky fingers reaching out from the drink. Small spotting found between the fingers.
Smell - Citrusy, bready, mild yeast. Faint hints of leaf and tropical character.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mostly a soft citrus profile, with hints of bread and yeastiness. Very mild mango mid-taste. Finish is mostly clean with lingering, but fading citrus.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fair, bubbly and lightly tingly carbonation. Silky, almost creamy texture makes this a damn clean and crushable drinking experience. It's damn smooth.
Overall - Clean, crushable brew but the flavor profile could use a bit more depth and strength, especially since this is an IPA and not a pale.

Poured hazy, cloudy orange/light brown with a small head that left decent lacing.
Aroma is soft, citrus fruity, really appealing.
Taste is zesty citrus fruit with a little bit of dank hops at the end.
Mouthfeel is medium, easy low bitterness.
Overall, really impressed with this new brew from New Glory. A great pick-up, would certainly get again.
