This one is brewed with Idaho Gem, Trident, and Citra hops. It's bursting with hop flavors of pineapple and papaya with a citrusy twist of orange blossom in the background. But wait, there's more! A touch of hoppy goodness reminiscent of ripe apricots adds an extra layer of complexity. This is what we call a hoppy ending.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Ripe tropical and stone fruit, citrus, a touch grassy, a little spice, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Mix of juicy citrus, tropical, and stone fruit, tangerine, mango, apricot, pineapple, passion fruit, cherry, and grapefruit, grassy herbal notes, a touch of spice, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.
O: Solid hazy pairing a couple less common hops with Citra and building a familiar yet unique flavor profile. Sits a touch sweeter than I'd prefer, but I'd still have another.
Looks like there's been a recipe change over the years, swapping Enigma and Vic Secret for Idaho Gem and Trident. I'm curious how noticeable the change is.

I think I had this one back at the end of February on a trip to the place in Granite Bay. Wouldn't really say this one was uniquely different than their other 40 hoppy beers. Usual hazy yellow appearance. 1/3" white head. Citra hops don't really come out on this one, seems to be more use of the Enigma and Vic Secret hops quantity wise, because the aromatic Citra notes aren't really here. Its a muddled green hop vibe slightly.
Taste is alright, you've got some bitterness reminiscent of a Centennial & Chinook combo. A little bit of that grapefruit greenness and slight woodiness to the hop bitterness. Body is the same as most of their beers, a simple dry light malt base of pale and 2 row lightly toasted. The slight haze in the appearance doesn't really reveal itself to be a hazy/NE ipa, drinks more like a bitter hybrid if anything.
I haven't bought any cans of this, but I could see doing so once, but not twice. Falls into the good not great category, slightly below average for an above average hops brewery.

No canning date, but that seems to be something that New Glory regularly does. Oh well, it's relatively fresh, and I am stoked to try nonetheless.
L: Pours a hazy straw yellow in color. It flirts on the boundary of hazy and unfiltered. A straight-centered slow pour yielded a massive 3 fingers of a bubbly white cap that dissipated in the blink of an eye. Appealing amounts of lacing coats the glass.
S: Tons of grass, vegetal and earthy complexity. Citrus and melon also present. It's different smelling, especially from what I've had from New Glory, but by no means is off putting. Mild yeast presence as well.
T: At first, I wasn't sure how I felt, but once I adjusted I started to like it more. It is earthy, vegetal and somewhat gritty. Lemon and grapefruit on finish with aftertaste of lemongrass, apricot, and grapefruit.
F: Medium in body, light in weight. Low to moderate carbonation.
O: For the abv, I am enjoying it. It doesn't encompass my favorite flavor profile, but it isn't repulsive either. I am enjoying drinking this. Plus, the can art is dope. I am very glad to have tried. Cheers!

Not impressed by hop bill on this one. Nose was not noticeable or remarkable and the taste, although smooth and drinkable, followed the unremarkable nose with an almost featureless taste.

Look: Bright yellow to light orange hazy (but not murky) body; 1.5 fingers of frothy white head on a semi-aggressive pour down the center of a pint glass. The head retention is fantastic, as is lacing.
Smell: Weak and convoluted. For a beer brewed with a variety of the new-age aromatic hops like Citra, Enigma and Vic Secret, the smell is a huge disappointment. The Citra hops try to come out, but the whole thing is just too muted.
Taste: Unfortunately, the taste follows the nose. It's sort of citrusy, sort of earthy, but also watered down. The overall taste is not repulsive, but simply bland.
Feel: The feel is ok for a NEIPA. The body is pretty smooth and mediumly carbonated but also overly light.
Overall: When I poured this beer, I was excited because it looked great. Unfortunately, the smell and the taste are best described as uncertain, weak, and subpar. This might be my lowest-rated beer from New Glory.

on tap at The Crafty Fox 1700 Mission St San Francisco.
A super hazy NE IPA pours a thick white head tons of lacing.
A chewy hop fruit filled bonus.
Nicely done.
