Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Tropical fruit, citrus, earthy, floral, grassy, and herbal notes, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Citrus, tropical, and stone fruit all fighting it out, mango, orange, apricot, grapefruit, peach, lemon lime, passion fruit, and a hint of guava, floral and grassy notes, underlying earthy slightly herbal tones, bready malt, and caramel honey sweetness.
M: Just a touch towards the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: The first few sips were very citrus forward, but the tropical fruit, especially from the Citra, really came out as it warmed up. I feel like just a couple more Amarillo IBUs would help keep that in check and make this something really special. I'm gonna keep my eyes open for this one in the future. This can was neering 2 months old, so there's a fair chance that it'd be even more to my liking when it's super fresh.

Enjoyed less than a month out.
This has a pleasant, juicy aroma. Marched on the sip. I could smell it an arms length from the glass. I liked it. Here's a reminder that New Glory has been 3 for 3 in my recent tastings.

The beer pours out a lightly hazy dark golden color, with 1 finger of white head---------------- the aromas are of pungent pine, eucalyptus and oranges------------- the flavors are of pine, dank weed, grapefruit, orange and floral notes, the beer has a light mouthfeel with a medium bitterness on the finish--------------------- overall this beer was exceptional - what a very nice west coast ipa, big pungent pine and citrus with moderate bitterness--

Poured clear golden honey with a nice big head that left good lacing.
Aroma is dank pine, floral, and earthy notes mixed with bright citrus.
Taste follows aroma, feel is medium-light, solid bitterness, clean dry finish.
Solid West Coast style IPA.

From the 02/09/18 can release
Appearance - Pours clear and golden yellow in color with a white, quarter finger width head that doesn't hang around long, leaving behind a mostly barren surface with a fair ring encircling the edge of the glass.
Smell - Lightly floral and citrusy with some sweet, bready malt undertones.
Taste - Follows the nose. Moderate strength in flavor that hits on mild citrus and adds touches of floral and leafy character. Flat, sweet white bread undertone. The finish lingers with some bittersweet citrus character that falls off rather quickly.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with a fair, tingly level of carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a lightly crisp and dry finish.
Overall - The flavor seems a little light in the loafers, especially given the trio of hops used. Overall it's a pretty run-of-the-mill IPA, and an unexpected disappointment given New Glory's recent track record.

Can of approximately 1 week in age into a tulip glass.
L: Pours bright copper with 2 fingers of medium density white head with good retention and left ringed and spotted lacing.
S: Nose starts floral forward, then some earthiness and woodiness, tropical fruit undertones. As it warms the woodiness begins to assert itself.
T: Follows the nose to a degree, more prominence of the earthy/woody attributes, floral and tropical seem to take a back seat. Finishes with moderate bitterness, limited astringency, and the bitterness lingers just a bit.
F: Thinner bodied with medium-high carbonation, some carbonation bite/burn on the lips and tongue.
O: Very interesting result from a hop combination I've had in the past, but perhaps not with this much Amarillo emphasis. While I don't expect a huge change, I've got a 2nd can that I'll revisit in a week or two. My $0.02, FWIW, if you like Enigma prominent beers or woody heavy attributes I'd give this a try. For my palate and preferences, this was a tough beer to review as I really liked some attributes.
