West coast with a thick creamy cap. Big aroma, fills the senses from the first crack of the can with floral and, yes, dank notes. It’s a double IPA and it shows this with a sharp bitterness, and more sticky resin on the palate. I enjoyed spending time with this one.

Had this on tap at New Glory Eatery and Taproom. Very good IPA with great balance. Good nose of piney hops...classic IPA nose. Taste follows...a little thin on the finish for a double, but drinkable!

The beer pours out with a tinge of haze light golden color and 2 fingers of white head----------------- the aromas are of sweet malt, orange and grapefruit-------------- the flavors are of dank weed, orange, grapefruit, pine and lesser tropical fruit, the beer has a medium mouthfeel with a light lingering bitterness on the finish-------------- overall this is a super solid west coast ipa that lives up to the dank name

From the 03/29/18 can release
Appearance - Pours relatively clear and golden orange in color with a white, finger width head. Decent retention before peeling back to a thin, broken layer of suds and building up around the edges to a thick ring. A few broken lines and small spotting make up the lace.
Smell - Fair aroma with mild earthy dankness, light citrus and a solid amount of bready, crackery malt sweetness.
Taste - Some nondescript citrus upfront and throughout while lesser herbal and earthy dank pine qualities linger just beneath. Anise comes through mid-taste, in addition to a fair bready malt backbone. The finish turns pithy and the citrusy bitterness lingers in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with a fair amount of tingly carbonation. Drinks easy before a mostly dry and slightly abrasive finish.
Overall - A pretty good and somewhat unique DIPA from New Glory here. While dank pine qualities aren't my thing, it doesn't overrun this brew, and there's some interesting herbal aspects going on which adds to the unique qualities this possesses. Maybe an occasional single can purchase.

Can of roughly 10 days in age into a tulip glass.
L: Pours bright golden with 2 fingers of white medium density white head with moderate retention and left mixed lacing.
S: Nose is a bit mute, earthy, with faint citrus.
T: Follows the nose in attributes and with limited dynamic behavior. Finishes with moderate bitterness and clears palate relatively quickly.
F: Light bodied with medium carbonation,Lively on the tongue, slight burn either from the carbonation or the ABV, slick finish.
O: It's a solid beer that drinks fairly easy for the ABV. Wouldn't seek it out, but would happily have again.
