Appearance - Pours opaque and deep magenta in color with a pinkish, dense one-finger head that hangs around for quite a while before finally dying to a thin, broken layer of suds and a thick ring encircling the edge of the glass. Fair amount of lacing with broken webbing and small spots decorating the glass.
Smell - Berries galore with lesser vanilla. Strawberry and blueberry stand out especially. Hint of floral character. Faint bready malts.
Taste - Follows the nose. Sweet and tart berry zing upfront before some smooth vanilla notes mellow it out.
Mouthfeel - Medium-to-full bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Creamy texture that holds firm to the smooth finish.
Overall - Delicious as hell. Better than the original with strawberry and pineapple, which I felt was a bad combo flavor-wise. When New Glory is at their best, they're hard to beat.
