From tasting notes 10/16/18
Had on-tap at New Glory in Sacramento, CA
Appearance - Served up in a snifter, cola brown with a slight reddish tinge. Mostly barren surface with a thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass.A few small spots make up the lace.
Smell - Chocolate. Faint roast. Mild cream. Not much else.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mostly mild chocolate with faint cream and even less roast. Hmm.
Mouthfeel - Light in body with fair carbonation. Smooth, slightly creamy texture with an easy drinking finish.
Overall - Not much of a brown. No real flavor development outside the cocoa nibs. Easy drinker, but the flavor leaves something to be desired.
