Had on-tap at New Glory in Sacramento, CA
Appearance - Served up in a nonic pint, hazy mellow orange in color. Thin, broken layer of suds with a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Fair lacing with broken webbing and small spots.
Smell - Mostly a mild melon aroma with lesser citrus. Picking up a hint of pine.
Taste - Follows the nose. Melon and orange juiciness with lesser pineapple and touch of dank. Faint crackery malt undertone. Finish adds mild pith bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a clean, refreshing finish.
Overall - Really solid NE-style IPA. Fair juiciness. Easy drinker. Nice flavor. This works.
