From tasting notes 09/15/18
Had on-tap at Round Table Clubhouse in Citrus Heights, CA
Appearance - Served up in a 16oz snifter, opaque and pink-violet in color with a mostly barren surface and a thin, broken ring of suds around the edge of the glass. Sparse lacing, with a few thin, broken lines and small spotting.
Smell - Fair, sweet and lightly tart berry aroma with hints of vanilla.
Taste - Follows the nose. Vanilla upfront and also some blueberry before a sweet, tart raspberry hits mid-taste. Finish is a battle between the tart raspberry and the more subtle blueberry flavor with underlying vanilla.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with light carbonation. Slightly creamy texture before a somewhat dry finish.
Overall - Really good brew, but the mixed berry version was better. This scratches the itch, but here's hoping mixed berry makes a triumphant return!
