1st review on BA. It seems like my recent reviews of New Glory offerings have been kinda ho hum, nothing bad, nothing excellent. I think this is an excellent beer.

Pours a hazy yellow. So hazy it might be better classified as a hazy ipa here. 1/2" white head. Aroma really backs up the name: its like you're in a citrus grove. Orange, lemon, lime, tangelo type of vibe all over the nose. Lots of citrus going on here. They don't reveal the type of hops used, but you get this cross like feel of Citra, Cascade and NeoMexicanus.

Taste is much the same way. It has a body that isn't wet or watery like happens with hazies sometimes. Still has a bitterness to it that keeps it in the more traditional ipa realm instead of going all juicy with no bittering hops/additions. The taste is still tons of citrus, the yeast as the commercial tug job says, is neutral. Great name for the beer, all around thoroughly enjoyable drink. Would pretty much pickup 4/6 cans of this anytime its available. One of my faves from them.

From the 11/9/18 can release

Appearance - Pours hazy and orange in color with an off-white, quarter finger width head. Sub-par retention results in a thin, broken layer of suds with a thin ring around the edge of the glass.

Smell - Strong hoppy aroma with a prominent citrus presence. Leafy.

Taste - Follows the nose. Hoppy and citrusy with big orange notes, lesser grapefruit & mango and hints of leaf and pine. Light, bready malt sweetness. Mild citrus pith and a bit of pineapple acidity in the finish.

Mouthfeel - Medium in body with fair, tingly carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a crisp, dry finish.

Overall - This is certainly a super hopped up version of the OG Liquid Grove. Really good, but I think I prefer the regular more.
