Straw with the light haze, and a little carbonation and a finger of white head.

It smells really dank like onions and garlic with a hint of pineapple.

The taste follows the nose it’s really dank lots of onion and garlic and a little bit of pineapple.

Light misting body for such a high percentage of alcohol. With a little carbonation.

I got this in Redding California where I’m drinking it April August 15, 2019.

Picked up a 4/6 pack of these earlier in 2019. New Glory is similar to a few breweries out there that make really good ipas, and they have slight variations of the same 6 hops to make up about 50 slightly different beers.

This is more of a west coast double ipa. Pours a familiar golden color with professional grade clarity to it and a 1/2" white head. Looks the part. Aroma wasn't as heavy on the Mosaic, it smelled nice, but seemed to really have more Simcoe in it than anything of the aroma hop genre. I dunno if its influenced by the color scheme, but there were slight lemon lime notes along the lines of a neomexicanus/Eukanot influence hop wise.

The taste has that dry Simcoe bitterness meets minimal dry malt tones. No yeast presence. Carbonation well done. Mostly a grapefruit like bitterness going on, just didn't go in the juicy direction here, did have a hint of woodiness to it. Alcohol well hidden like virtually all of their 8%+ beers. Has a decent shelf life for beers of this variety, had one over 100 days old and it held up just fine, barely lost any gusto.

Draught pour at Davis Beer Shoppe into a tulip. Gorgeous clear golden, good head retention, left mixed lacing. Nose a bit mute, but enjoyable earthiness and guava. Taste pops and deliciously at that. Follows nose, but adds in some additional citrus. Finishes dry with plenty of bitterness and acidity. Light bodied with medium-high carbonation, crisp on swallow. Will definitely grab again!

From the 10/19/18 can release

Appearance - Pours hazy and orange in color with an off-white, half finger width head. Fair retention results in a thin, broken layer of suds floating on the surface.

Smell - Hoppy aroma hinting at citrus, pineapple and some leafy/grassy bitterness.

Taste - Mmm, tasty. A plethora of citrus and tropical notes upfront, including a huge punch of pineapple and lesser guava, then green leaf and a pinch of earthy dank come in mid-taste. Finishes with mild grapefruit pith and pineapple, and a touch of stonefruit pit nuttiness.

Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with low-to-moderate carbonation. Slick, easy drinker with a slightly silky delivery before a mildly dry finish.

Overall - Tasty and unique offering from New Glory. Nice tropical sweetness balanced out by some underlying earth and pith bitterness. I could drink this one all day.
