1st review on BA. Bought a 6 pack (or 4 pack, I can't remember which way they sell this one). Pours a golden color, not hazy, but not a super clean clear look to it either. 1/3" white head. I guess it leans west coast, but the unfiltered part and the dry hopping keeps it from being "clear". Amarillo and Mosaic hops push the nose on this one. The Mosaic seems to be the minority partner in the nose, more Amarillo going on.
Taste is definitely pushed by the Simcoe, I dunno if its psychosomatic or what, but the treeline reference and the taste really made me think I was gonna come across some Chinook or Centennial hops in this one until I read the commercial tug job. Same out of the way pale malt body as usual, same for the neutral yeast, comes out the mouth feel and back end with a relatively dry end game. I dig it, but it tastes different, more tree like than I would have suspected from reading their notes about it.
