Alright, time to review one of my all time favorite coffee bangers. Pours the typical hefty black. Big ass tan head 3/4". Aroma: so much coffee. Not pulling vanilla in the nose, which is good, i don't wanna smell that the coffee is so good. Roasted weekend mornings right there.
The taste, oh boy, the taste. Hefty roasted malt and coffee, massive amounts. Those large amounts (plays Ludacris) somehow don't go over the top and end up with really any challenging amounts of bitterness, acidity or acrid feels. The mouthfeel is so dang impressive. From nose to taste to finish, the beer just keeps a massive upward trajectory. I've been drinking less stouts the last 2-3 years, but this has got to be one of my favorites out of over a thousands beers in that time frame. The vanilla wasn't perceptible so much taste wise, but I have to think that they got just the right amount to make the mouth feel so exquisite here. I mean, its a really easy 14.4% to put down. Would easily buy a can every chance I get. Prolly more.

Appearance - Pours black with a tan, near finger width head. Fair retention before dying down to a near barren surface with a razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. No lacing.
Smell - Fudgy aroma of deep, dark chocolate and vanilla, lesser roast and a bit of molasses. Fair booziness as well, but not unexpected for the ABV.
Taste - Follows the nose. Deep, fudgy chocolate notes with lesser vanilla, and then a bit of coffee kicks in, and rides beneath through to the finish. Touch of molasses and caramel. Finish is well balanced, as the light roast, cream and touch of booze do well to counteract the moderate sweetness presented here.
Mouthfeel - Full-bodied with low-to-moderate carbonation. Smooth, creamy drinker with a slightly dry and warming finish. Hard to believe this is a 14.4%
Overall - New Glory's Batter Up has a slightly better flavor profile, and both are fantastic btw, but the mouthfeel here wins by a landslide, especially after Batter Up's last batch. They just nailed that thick, creamy texture that was much needed. Personally, I think mouthfeel should be rated on BA equally, if not higher than aroma, but that's just my opinion. New Glory really nailed it here,
