Collaboration with Resident Brewing Company
A collab between New Glory & Resident Brewing, Chasing Dreams American Double IPA brewed in collaboration with our friends at Resident Brewing Co. It’s brewed with 100% Citra Hops, dry hopped at four different stages, and finished with Cryo; and fermented with our expressive ale yeast. Packaged in its purest form, unfined and unfiltered.

Pretty sure I picked this up at New Glory, but not 100% on that, but seems the most likely way it went down.
Pours a hazy yellow and light orange. 3/4" white head. Wouldn't call it tight bubbled. All Citra hops, commercial tug job of four dry hop sessions, but who knows, I'd say each one might be 10% of some other breweries one stage dry hopping. Anyways, it smelled of Citra/citrus, but nothing big time pungency, it hit, but Michael Bisping level hit, not Francis Ngannou.
Taste was decent, the commercial tug job also talked about an expressive ale yeast, but seems pretty neutral to me. The hops are nice, but not huge, bitterness largely restrained in this one, seems to have the requisite flaked oats and wheat aspect to it. Notes of tangerine the entire time. Hint of mango, papaya, but mostly citrus. Mouth feel was probably the best aspect of the beer, easy drinker, hides the alcohol pretty well, just a light hint of it. Never heard of Resident Brewing before. Might check 'em out if I see something else from them.

Sweet dank tropical hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows with slight nuttiness to go along with the bitter bite on the swallow. I was surprised at how good this 100% Citra hop bill was. Good depth and feel made this an easy drinker!

On tap.
L: hazy yellow, a finger of head with moderate lacing. Looks inviting.
S: very juicy. Mango, apricot, pineapple and citrus. Smells delicious.
T: classic citra flavor. Citrus dominates with flavors of mango, papaya, bubble gum and banana. Finish is slightly grassy with a touch of dankness.
F: medium in body and in weight. Low carbonation, slick and smooth feel.
O: very enjoyable, and would drink again and I’m grateful to have tried. Cheers!
