Appearance - Pours surprisingly clear and golden yellow in color with a white, near two-finger width head. Good retention before dying down to a thin, broken layer of surface suds and a thin ring around the edge of the glass. Good amount of lacing with broken sheeting and small spotting.
Smell - Mostly picking up vanilla and malt on the nose. Hint of lemony/grassy hop in there too?
Taste - Tastes as promised. A fair amount of creamy vanilla sweetness is the main note here, with hints of hop and malt to remind you this is a beer. Not much change from start to finish. Simple, but good.
Mouthfeel - Medium-to-full in body with fair carbonation. Good amount of creaminess in the texture. Drinks nice and easy with a smooth finish.
Overall - Not the best vanilla milkshake IPA (preferred Lead Dog's Snow Paws) I've had, but it's a step back in the right direction for this series in so far as the mouthfeel is concerned.
