Back at the end of summer 2019, I did a little road trip on the way to go see the Stones w Dr. Carroll at the Rose Bowl, hitting up breweries and buying 4/6 packs all the way down I-80/5. This was one of the first stops. Poured a bunch of these for the crew before the show. For what is labeled a hazy ipa, it didn't have that turbid appearance.
Pours yellow, almost canary like brightness. Good 3/5" white head on top. The aroma hits those Citra notes right in the expectations: orange, tangerine and grapefruit comin' out so you better get this party started. They ain't lying about the double dry hop.
Taste has a certain limitation in that Citra is literally the #1 hop crop and this is all Citra and you've had Citra a million times right? So what, still good, plenty predictable and just plenty of citrus notes throughout. A hint more bitterness than you might expect for all citra, but not problematic, neutral dry malt body, de minimus in structure.
Good stuff that memories are made of, great show, great friends.

Sweet orange citrus hoppy nose on this one! Taste follows with hoppy orange citrus bitterness.
It has good depth and feel but is slightly over-carbination on the finish.
