Another review from the November 2019 trip to New Glory. Had this on tap, bought one big tall boy can of it (19.2) ounces.
Description reads as a quintessential pastry stout from south of the border.

Pours black. Creates a light brown head that has some weird bubble holes in it, hits around 3/5" before it recedes slightly quicker than average. Aroma of brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, all that stuff pretty much covers up the standard smell of roasted malt in an imperial stout.

Taste, hey its good and sweet, right amount of cinnamon to temper that a bit. Amazing silky sweet mouth feel is the best part of the beer. Its almost too good because you really don't want to be drinking 12.8% this easily. When you can pound sipper strength beer, watch out. Doesn't seem to have chocolate as an adjunct, but there are plenty of smooth chocolate notes. I liked that it wasn't a massive viscosity beer. Its not 'thin' it just drinks easy. If you really wanna find the roasted notes, you can later on as it warms, but this is just straight up Mexican panaderia stout, and a pretty good one at that.
