I really dig regular gummy worms, even has a slight positive deviation in my score, unlike > 90% of my reviews. This one is a hard "nah dog."
Pours a similar appearance, big ol hazy pale ale, 1/2" white head on top of a chicken gravy looking appearance. The aroma is completely devoid of all the juicy hoppiness that makes regular gummy worms a really good smelling beer. This is just like, there, with no real smell of anything sour or hoppy, hence making it a total meh. I only gave it a 3 because it didn't have anything smell "off". But nothing smelled "on" either.
Taste, much the same way, its like I'm not drinking something sour or hoppy. Its just liquid, and I guess its kind of like having a mild ale that is bready and chewy, but not bitter. The body is all flaked and whatnot making it go down easy, so not really a problem there. At the end of the day, this is a massive downgrade from the regular gummy worms. Would not bang (again).
