Appearance - Pours hazy and dark berry red in color, with a pink, frothy near two-finger width head. Fair retention before settling to a thin, broken layer of suds across the top, and a thin ring around the edge. A few scant, miniscule spots make up the very minimal lacing.
Smell - Black currant and cranberry tartness, along with a faint whiff of vinegar. Really hard to pick up any tangerine.
Taste - Follows the nose to a degree. Black currant and cranberry dominate the beginning and md-taste. Mild hint of vinegar throughout. Tangerine starts to emerge in the finish, and really lingers in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light-bodied with fair carbonation. Easy drinking. Crisp, bitey and slick. Dry finish.
Overall - Coming in at only 3.6%, but packs quite a punch of tart fruitiness, owed of course to actual fruit used in the brewing process. Maybe just a bit too much black currant and cranberry, as that tart, dry berry character can get a bit much.
