Had this last Sunday night watching football and shit.
Pours a familiar yellow for New Glory, not quite clear, not quite hazy, just a cloudy from the dry hop unfiltered appearance kind of situation. 1/2" white head. The aroma is relatively old school, hitting those front yard Cascade and Centennial hops moreso than the Amarillo ones in the nose (acknowledging there is substantial overlap of the qualities of those 3 hops). Green grapefruit rind with the 'trees in the mirror so my car won't smell'.
Taste, its largely a C hopped pale ale with some Simcoe helping out, but its not near as bitter as you might think despite it having like 3.5 bittering hops in it. Its firm, but gentle, almost always a good mix of qualities. Light hit of malt, nothing too heavy, nor super light or dry. Lightest caramel cardboard aspect to it, its like a much lighter caramel quality bagged cereal version of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (SNPA). And at the end of the day, that means its pretty good, but why go back to this when the Godfather is available for cheaper.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Floral, citrus zest, pine, faint fruity notes, biscuity bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Resinous pine, floral, citrus zest, grapefruit, lemon, and orange, underlying fruity notes, peach, apricot, mango, and passion fruit, biscuity bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Pretty much exactly what I was hoping for when I saw it. Classic Northwest hopped pale ale.

Can dated 09/13/20 into an imperial nonic pint.
L: Golden with a subtle hint of haze, nearly 2 fingers of white variable-density head with great retention and left sticky ringed lacing.
S: Old school west coast, very pine heavy. Some subtle earthy and herbal undertones.
T: Follows the nose well, slight spicy aspect from the Amarillo. Finishes with moderate bitterness and a little acidity, acidity lingers.
F: Low-medium bodied with medium carbonation, silky on the tongue, crisp on the swallow.
O: A nice old school west coast APA. You need to like something that lacks any juicy notes to appreciate this brew.
