We took one batch of a big 8.0% imperial kettle sour and split it into two. One for me and one for you. ours is a more delicate and refreshing affair inspired by the classy AF White Linen cocktail with lime, cucumber, lemongrass, and ginger.

Appearance - Pours slightly hazy and golden yellow in color with a white, near finger width head. Sub-par retention, dying to a thin, broken layer of suds with a razor thin ring around the edges. A few dozen tiny spots make up a sparse lacing.
Smell - Lemon grass and cucumber, with lesser lime and a hint of ginger. More herbal than tart on the nose.
Taste - Lemongrass and a hint of ginger hit first, with a solid cucumber undertone that really comes through mid-taste. Fair lime tartness comes through in the finish, and leaves a light sourness on the tongue in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with a fair amount of carbonation. Slick, easy drinker before a crisp, mostly dry finish.
Overall - Interesting, unique take on a kettle sour, but not really my bag. I think a bit more lime may have helped it, but maybe too much would've taken away from the inspiration for this?
