8th Anniversary Special Release
Yes, it’s true. These words were spoken by our owner, and very first brewer, Julien. “Never will I ever brew an IPA.” What the what, right? We have come so far since then! This IPA is lovingly brewed with a bouquet of Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, and Citra hops. We also brewed it with a blend of 100% Admiral Malting malts from the Bay Area. It’s bursting with flavors and aromas of citrus lime, dank diesel, and white grapes. Eight years later, we say, “Let’s brew another IPA!”

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden amber with a bit of chill haze and frothy khaki head that settles to a light layer and laces very nicely.
S: Citrus hits first, followed by tropical and stone fruit, a little pine, grassy and floral notes, some classic Nelson, lightly toasted bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Zesty citrus, lime, lemon, grapefruit, and orange, quickly followed by a strong hit of Nelson, Southern Hem diesel, gooseberry, and white grape, a little pine, some tropical and stone fruit, passion fruit, mango, peach, apricot, and a, papaya, a bit grassy, strong floral notes on the back end, all held together with bready malt and a little caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Fun Anniversary IPA. Some of the flavors can come together in a kinda soapy/perfume-y way, but still an enjoyable brew.
