Aah fuzzy riffs... the best kind of riffs. This hazy double IPA accompanies your favorite fuzzy tunes perfectly. In true punk fashion, we blast this beer with all the good stuff. Motueka and Simcoe hops give this beer loud, citrus, lemon-lime and grapefruit flavors and aromas, while Strata lends complementary flavors and aromas of wild berry and strawberry. This beer is like fuzzy riffs on your tongue. Rock on!

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours slightly hazy hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Pine and citrus zest, grassy earthy tones, slightly herbal, a little underlying tropical and stone fruit, plus some under ripe strawberry, bready malt, and just a bit of caramel sweetness.
T: Resinous pine, big earthy slightly dank herbal notes, citrus zest and pith, lime, lemon, and a touch of grapefruit, underlying fruity notes, papaya, slightly underripe strawberry and pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: A touch on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: I'm used to having beers that I'm not in love with after the first sip slowly win me over as my glass empties. Unfortunately that didn't happen here. First sip was aggressive, and while that edge softened with time, I can't say I'm big on the flavors that followed as they feel like they never come together quite right. My biggest issue is with the big earthy notes that the Strata brings that kinda muddy the waters. I think if you just pulled that hop out everything would come together a lot better. This one is meh at best for me.
