easy drinking summer wheat beer thats fruited but not in a gross way, this isnt too sweet, and its still driven by the wheat malt in both flavor and mouthfeel, which i like a lot, and this stays pretty authentic on the mango and tangerine, a nice combination, very much giving summer cocktail vibes. hazy light orange colored without a big head on it but enough carbonation is suspension to keep it moving. tangerine in front of mango for me in both aroma and flavor, natural and sweet a little bit, but also with some characteristic tang, the mango is fleshy and works in well, the wheat is fuller, nutty and almost toasted to me, not totally pale and neutral, and i like what it contributes to the flavor, keeps it grounded and beery, this is simple stuff, clean on the ferment and without anything appreciable on the hop side, but its mass appeal, nothing is cheap about it, and the flavors work great for hot weather. some orange juiciness as it warms, but the wheat is never lost. off dry but not sugary at the end, bubbly enough, better than a lot of its peers in a style that can be super hit or miss for me. a no frills brew that is modern in some sense, solid and unpretentious, which was the vibe i got from all the new glory stuff i drank recently.
