Hold onto your hat! This zesty westy brings a big downpour of Amarillo, Centennial, and Cascade hops straight to your mouth! Expect high-hop flavors of orange and grapefruit and a gust of citrusy hop aroma. Also, look out for rye, which adds a spicy zest character to compliment all of those citrusy hops.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours faintly hazy golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves plenty of very nice lacing.
S: Citrus zest, green resinous notes, peppery rye spice, a touch earthy, faint fruity hints, and slightly toasty bready malt.
T: Citrus, lemon, grapefruit, and orange, green resinous herbal notes, a little earthy, faint fruity undertones, peach, apricot, and passion fruit, strong malt backbone, spicy rye and toasty bready malt, with a fairly dry finish.
M: A little on the fuller side of medium body, somewhat mild carbonation
O: I'm always excited to see IPAs that use classic American hops, so I snapped this one up. Oddly enough, the first couple sips were more malt forward before the hops kicked in. Definitely drinks like a throwback. Personally I'd like to see the carbonation a bit more lively and a few more IBUs to counter all that malt.
