Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and leaves some spotty lacing.
S: Zesty citrus, definitely get a little grapefruit juice, a touch of pine, grassy notes, fairly floral, faint stone fruit, crackery and slightly toasty bready malt, and just a touch of sweetness.
T: Plenty of citrus as expected, grapefruit, big lemon, lime, and tangerine, floral notes, a little resinous pine, a little stone fruit, apricot and peach, a bit grassy, crackery yet also kinda faintly toasty bready malt, and just a touch of sweetness.
M: A bit on the lighter side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Floral, decent hit of grapefruit, but it left me wanting more. (Honestly, craving a Grapefruit Sculpin to really scratch that itch.) Just feels like it needs more depth, which feels odd to say for a 6.8% IPA with Citra, Simcoe, and Centennial.
