Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy cream white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little nice lacing.
S: Grassy, citrus zest, light tropical and stone fruit, earthy herbal notes, crackery biscuity malt, and just a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Zesty citrus, lemon, lime, tangerine, and grapefruit, a little tropical and stone fruit, apricot, peach, mango, and passion fruit, underlying grassy, herbal, and earthy notes, crackery biscuity malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly oily.
O: This might be the most underwhelming all Citra IPA I've had. It feels like they were going for something light and crisp, but just never got there. Kinda feels like the body of a normal IPA, but the flavor of a session IPA. I'd drink another, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
A 3.77 feels a bit lower than this deserves, but I can't find any area I can justify bumping up.
