Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden amber with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Big juicy almost candied citrus with mandarin orange dominates, with some tropical and stone fruit, slight grassy resinous notes, floral hints, biscuity ever so slightly bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Citrus, mandarin orange leads the charge, with hints of grapefruit and candied lemon, some tropical and stone fruit, mango nectar, apricot, peach, and faint passion fruit, slight grassy notes, biscuity slightly bready malt, and plenty of caramel sweetness.
M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, somewhat mild carbonation, soft on the palate, flirting with becoming syrupy but somehow just staying behind the line.
O: I'm whelmed by this one. For a 9%er it's pretty impressively smooth, but I think it could use a few more IBUs to counter all that sweetness.
