A very smooth but slightly hoppy beer that goes down easy. If you are not quite into IPA's but like a little kick, this is your beer. Starts bitter but then quickly eases up. Perfect for the person (like me) that is still not 100% sold on the whole IPA craze. Not as "red" as many red ales that you see, but do not consider this a negative. Was definitely glad to find something this good this close to home!
