This beer tastes primarily of whatever barrel it was aged in. The beer added to the barrel was too weak tasting to stand with the barrel itself. Tastes more like a rye beer to me. Was better at a colder temperature which for me is a bad sign as almost all barrel age beers improve with higher temperatures. Disappointing.
