22 ounce bottle partially into a weizen glass and into a flute glass. Had 12/26/16.
Pours a nice caramel color, a little cloudy, with a two finger foamy head and lots of foamy lacing. Active carbonation. The smell is malt, yeast, caramel, black pepper, a generally spicy aroma. The taste is malt, spices, caramel, a little banana, yeast. A light bitterness throughout. Smooth, a good body. well carbonated.
This better than I expected it to be, true to the style. Has a good balance, solid aroma and flavors, but the depth is lacking a little.
