22 ounce bottle into a tulip snifter. Had 5/26/17.
Pours a medium amber, slightly reddish in the light. Cloudy, with no head and a light ring of cling. Smells of bourbon, malt, plums, dates, raisins, some caramel, light vanilla and cherries. The taste is a little more malt forward, then cherries, bourbon, caramel, dates, plums, oak, light vanilla, a good amount of alcohol. Mostly smooth, a decent, lighter body for the style, could have been better carbonated.
A decent effort. Very good aroma, and the flavor was good, but not as developed as I may have made it sound. Certainly needed more carbonation.
