22 ounce bottle into a goblet. About a year old. Had 6/1/18.
Pours a somewhat hazy medium amber, just a brief flash of a head, a little spotty lacing. Aromas of figs, dates, malt, some bourbon, wine, grapes, plums, oak, light brown sugar. Similar flavors- malt, bourbon- more as it warms, figs, plums, grapes, oak, some dates, light wine, a little alcohol. Pretty smooth, a good medium to full body, appropriately carbonated.
A nice effort on a true to style BA Quad. The flavor is bourbon forward, but not overwhelming, great aroma, very enjoyable.

22oz bottle #88 of 288 batch 201but not otherwise dated.
Poured into a tulip shows a dull reddish-brown body with little foam. A white edge-hugging ring of tiny bubbles is a highlight.
Aromas include the panoply of dark, dried, and stone fruits along with leather, oak, ash, vanilla, cocoa, bourbon, and caramel.
The flavor of nuts builds upon the sweetness of those found in the nose especially as it warms.
Mouthfeel is slightly thin and finishes clean leaving only warmth behind.
Overall a very nice quad and slow sipper.
