Small but diverse selection of beers. I had a flight with my lunch and enjoyed them all to varying degrees. Excellent service.

Service could be better, have had wait staff who just were not friendly. Beer quality is getting better with time. Raspberry Blonde is fantastic. Bourbon aged options are so-so at best. Good food, good value all around.

i met some friends at this place on the way to my grandfather's on their suggestion. They know I like craft beer, so I went with it. I pulled in and thought the place looked more like a family restaurant than a brewpub. I walked in to a chain restaurant feel. The bar sat in the middle of the room. I plopped down with my friends at a booth.

The server was a young lady who was very friendly and polite. I got a sampler that was unimpressive. When my food came I ordered a barrel aged beer that was okay. I got the mac and cheese. It was made with roasted chicken and peas. I wasn't overly impressed with it either. That is saying something considering what a fat ass I am. My friends really like the place and said they have never had a bad meal. I told them to avoid the mac and cheese then.

They also served hard cider. My female friend loved it and kept drinking her husband's. I believe is was a raspberry cider which I decided to try. It was good but a little sweet for my liking.

It was a nice place with okay beer, but it just felt like I was sitting at a Bob Evans and drinking beer. My friends like it, and I would go back to try different food, and the beer wasn't awful.

My wife and I visited this brewpub for dinner and beers. The place is located along the highway (M-57, hence the brewpub's name) at the west edge of town, and has been open since late 2012 so they have had time to tweak the beers and food (if it was needed at all). The attractive building was constructed for this brewery, and is like a large bistro restaurant as far as the interior design is concerned. A 3-sided bar sits in the middle of the large open space, and the eating area is situated on these three sides. The open-walled kitchen is to the rear of the bar. A partitioned area in a front corner of the building and adjacent to the entrance contains the brewing equipment. Outdoor seating on a deck is also available. Televisions are viewable from everywhere in the restaurant.

We ordered a sampler with 4 of the 10 beers that were available: a Honey Ale, an Imperial Red, the IPA, and a hoppy wheat beer called Wayne's Green Tractor. I also ordered a glass of the brandy barrel-aged Belgian Ale. The four beers on the sampler were absolutely identical in color, which seemed strange to me, but each had its own character and taste. Except for the IPA the other beers are from recipes that aren't often seen, so it is difficult to say that they are brewed to their respective styles, but those three were very tasty and spot-on to the description on the menu. The IPA is easy to say that it was brewed to style, and it was my favorite. I'll rate these four at a B grade.

The brewery has a small barrel-aged program with three beers listed on the menu, but only one is available at any one time if I understood our server correctly. The brandy barrel-aged Belgian Ale was delicious, and I'll give it a B+ rating. The other two, when available, are the Honey Ale that is Bourbon barrel-aged, and an IPA that is aged in Woodford Bourbon barrels. I'd love to try those two, so I'll visit the brewpub again.

There is a full menu with some unique offerings that go well beyond typical pub foods. From appetizers to dessert, with deli sandwiches, burgers, and full dinner entrees in between, they all sounded appealing. (The menu is on their website.)

Liquor and 8-10 wines are stocked at the bar, plus they offer some Bud, Miller and Coors' products in bottles or cans for the non-craft beer drinkers. When in the area we'll stop here again.
