Smooth, creamy and delightfully lighter than a lot of other craft beers. This one has a fun theme to it but also is a lot better than the Stroh's version, not as strange tasting but has a very balanced full bodied taste to it.

Taste: some spiciness slight honey sweetness breadiness herbal tea taste grassines finishes with some bitterness in the back end.
Overall: nice and refreshing dry mouthfeel the bitterness lingers in the aftertaste but then quickly disapears. Not a huge fan of pilsners but the honey sweetness along with the nice hop presents makes this enjoyable.

Pours a slightly cloudy pale gold. Smell is nicely hoppy with a bit of sweet undertones. I consider it a perfect beer smell. Love it! The taste has a good dose of hops, slightly bitter and flowery, with a good balance of malt sweetness. This beer reminds me why I have always liked beer, even cheap lagers and pilsners. It smells and tastes like all the beers of my youth. Plenty of taste, with some complex hoppiness, but clean and refreshing. A great brew for a summer day.

From BeerAdvocate Magazine #88 (May 2014):
Bitter, Spicy, Bold, Grassy
Griffin Claw throws down with their version of a Bohemian Pilsner by boasting that they use more hops per barrel than their IPA. The full on grassy, herbal and spicy hop character is proof that they did. All of the other attributes of this style hit the right spots, huge bonus to the brewery for packaging in tallboy cans!!
